Privacy Policy

For the Ollie Expense Tracker app · Last updated: July 12, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Marsian Arts (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Ollie Expense Tracker mobile application (“Ollie” or the “App”), which helps you track and share expenses. By using Ollie, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Information We Collect

Account information

When you create an account, we process your sign-in details through Google Firebase Authentication. Depending on how you sign in, this may include your email address, your name, and a unique user identifier. You can sign in with email, Google, or Apple, or use the App anonymously. If you use Sign in with Apple with the private email relay, we receive only a relay email address.

Information you provide in the App

Ollie stores the content you create — including your expense entries (amounts, descriptions, dates, currencies, and categories) and the names of your accounts — in Google Cloud Firestore so it can sync across your devices.

Shared information

Ollie lets you share an account with other people you invite. When you share an account, the expenses and related content in that account become visible to the people you invite, and content they add becomes visible to you. We process the user identifiers needed to manage this sharing.

Crash and diagnostic information

Ollie contains no analytics SDK and does not track how you use the App. The only diagnostic data we receive is crash reporting through Firebase Crashlytics: if the App crashes or encounters an error, we receive a report containing technical details (such as your device model and iOS version) and a short log of recent in-app actions that helps us reproduce the problem. Crash reports are associated with your user identifier — never your name or email — and this information leaves your device only as part of a crash or error report.

Purchases

If you subscribe to Ollie Pro, your purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store. We receive your subscription status to unlock Pro features, but we do not receive your payment card details.

How We Use Information

Legal Bases (EEA/UK Users)

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (to provide the App and its features); our legitimate interests (to secure the App and to diagnose crashes and errors); and compliance with legal obligations.

No Advertising, No Tracking

Ollie is private by design. The App shows no ads and contains no advertising or analytics SDKs. We do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites, we do not use your information for advertising, and we never sell it. Because there is no tracking, the App never asks for App Tracking Transparency permission and needs no advertising consent.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information with:

These providers process data under their own privacy policies:

Data Retention

We retain your account and the content you create for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete the associated content as described below. Some information may be retained for a limited period where necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements. Our infrastructure providers retain data according to their own policies.

Your Rights and Choices

Deleting your account and data

You can delete your account and its associated content directly in the App (Account → Delete Account). This removes your account and the content you own.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal information, and to data portability. EEA/UK users may exercise these rights, and California residents may exercise rights under the CCPA/CPRA — including the right to know and to delete. We do not sell personal information, and we do not “share” it for cross-context behavioral advertising. To make a request, contact us at the email below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Children’s Privacy

Ollie is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Data Security

We use industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International Data Transfers

We and our service providers may process and store your information in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of Ollie after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
